The County Academy Programme (CAP) encourages the development of talented youngsters who currently do not receive county level coaching.

For information on the County Academy Programme nationally please use this link.

Initially those that apply do not have to be members of a golf club nor even regular players. But, if they are under 19 years of age,  show talent, application and a desire to improve, the programme includes:-

County Academy Programme

  •  6 x 2 hr coaching sessions in small groups.
  • delivered by County Academy Coaches,
  • run in their local area from October to March each year.

How are CAP Players identified?

    • We regularly run "Talent Days" in different areas througout Hampshire, where Girls and Boys of under 19 can just turn up and have a go.
    • Those that our County Academy Coaches identify as having potential talent for golf will be invited to join in CAP coaching sessions at a Golf for All Club or Get into Golf Centre & Club near them.
    • Junior Organisors at Golf Clubs may also identify talented under 19's who are Junior Members and recommend them for inclusion in the CAP programme.

For further information please look at CAP Zones
